THE COURSE
The 2023 Giant Scott Cycles Karratha 6-Hour course consists of a loop or series of loops with distances between 6 and 10 kilometres. A feed station will be available in the transition area and riders/teams can establish camp in the Event Village. Vehicle movement into and out of the Event Village is restricted to ensure rider and spectator safety. Vehicles will be able to remain in the village area but will have to do so for the duration of the race unless in dire emergency.

Parts of this have been included in previous 6-Hour courses. Karratha riding tends to be hard on tyres with lots of sharp-edged rocks. Whether riding tubes or tubeless the great majority are also running with sealant. Most riders are on dual suspension bikes. Riders are encouraged to wear protective gear such as gloves, elbow and knee guards in addition to the mandatory helmet.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens 6 weeks prior to the event and is promoted on Facebook, our website www.burrupmtb.com and via email to members and past competitors.

PRIZES
