If you are riding in a team of 2 or more there is no set formula.  Your team gets to choose who rides when, how many laps and who is supplying the refreshments.

THE COURSE

Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izWaHGRFFNU for some footage of riding around Karratha.  Parts of this are included in the 6 hour course. Here is a bit more of last year’s course http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1w6AGig6gQ. Karratha riding tends to be pretty hard on tyres with lots of sharp edged rocks. Whether riding tubes or tubeless the great majority of riders are also running with sealant. Most riders are on dual suspension bikes.
