Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izWaHGRFFNU for some footage of riding around Karratha.  Parts of this are included in the 6 hour course. Here is a bit more of last year’s course http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1w6AGig6gQ. Karratha riding tends to be pretty hard on tyres with lots of sharp edged rocks. Whether riding tubes or tubeless the great majority of riders are also running with sealant. Most riders are on dual suspension bikes.

Live race results can be found here

Prize money will be paid for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for Solos as a minimum.  Other categories will receive prize money where funds allow. A prize for best outfits and other spot prizes will be awarded on the day.
