RACE 1 – Saturday 7th of April

Register from 1545 – 1645.  Start 1700 hrs.
Start Line – Behind ex-Bay Village Camp

Race Course can be found here.
Course is marked but caution signs will be completed on the day.

A ride not technical and welcoming for the beginner, fast for the Elite, fun for all. A gentle season start with NO HILLS.
Starting behind the now removed Bay Village, pick up some classic urban street views of Nickol West to warm the legs, display tightrope balance across the “Caterpillar’s Back” (or take the “B” line road option), onto some backcountry scrub bashing, a manicured rock garden crossing, EXQUISITE river side views along the “Fascine”, then on to  a Roadie’s delight on the hard and fast rolling “Overdrive” road Strava segment, single track – hard and soft, and a bridged river crossing.
This is not to be missed, the best race yet in the 2018 winter season!
RED – Full Loop 12.4km    GREEN – Short Loop 8.8k
Based on 2 x Figure of 8 loops – Watch for traffic and a couple of merging points, you’re not alone out there.

Elite = 2 x Full Loops (RED)    24.8km
